Job Summary
Maintain The Arc of the Ozarks office buildings and grounds through general cleaning duties, sanitation, and facility upkeep. Perform tasks including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, dusting furniture, sweeping floors, emptying trash, applying floor sealers, and using power equipment like buffers and high-pressure washers. Lock and unlock buildings, secure alarms, and manage snow removal within sixteen feet of the structure. Complete work orders, assist with inventory and security, and handle emergencies as needed. Mix cleaning solutions per specifications and maintain confidentiality regarding participants.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 75 lbs.
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- The ability to work effectively with others as a team.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good client/customer service skills.
- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to maintain a record of punctuality and attendance.
- Basic knowledge and understanding regarding sanitation, cleaning products, and health and safety.
Desired Qualifications
- Six months prior Custodial experience preferred.
- Possession of High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- A licensed and insured driver preferred.
