Job Summary
Stock housekeeping supplies, apply cleaning solvents, and operate equipment to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, the Casino floor, and customer areas including metalwork, rugs, carpets, and draperies. Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, transport waste to disposal, wash windows and walls, and handle biohazard material. Direct customer inquiries and clean problem areas as assigned. Report to the EVS Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Manager. Work part-time shifts from 3:00pm to 11:30pm Friday through Monday with days off Tuesday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Environmental Services/Housekeeping Experience in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo (includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods)
- Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic maintenance
- General knowledge of cleaning requirements in the hospitality industry
- Understand government public health regulations
