Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of school building interiors and facilities, as well as the school grounds. Key tasks include opening and securing the building, sweeping, stripping, and waxing floors, cleaning carpets, removing trash, scrubbing toilets, dusting furniture and windows, sanitizing drinking fountains, mowing grass, and performing routine checks on fire extinguishers and emergency lights. The role also includes hauling materials, moving furniture, and assisting with snow removal as needed.
