Job Summary
Campus Custodian will clean and maintain the school or other educational facility. Duties include general cleaning and janitorial tasks in common areas, minor repairs such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria, basic grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming lawns, snow removal), ensuring heating and cooling systems are operational, keeping janitor's room organized, washing windows, and identifying safety hazards for review with lead custodian, principal, or school resource officer. Must be detail-oriented with ability to operate basic maintenance tools, interact professionally with staff, students, parents, and visitors, and have a high school diploma or equivalent with ability to pass a background check.
