Custodian

Clean production floors, aisles, restrooms, break areas, and offices on a daily schedule while removing leather scrap, trim waste, and general refuse. Segregate materials according to environmental permit requirements and maintain cleaning supply inventory by storing chemicals per safety data sheets. Keep aisles, exits, eyewash stations, and fire equipment clear and accessible at all times. Report any spills, leaks, blocked exits, or unsafe conditions to Maintenance immediately. This role requires standing, walking, and bending with lifting up to 40 pounds, exposing you to cleaning chemicals and plant hazards. Performance is measured through housekeeping audit results and the status of blocked exits or obstructed safety equipment. No prior experience is required; we train you on site.
