Custodian

Maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public by cleaning assigned areas including classrooms, offices, gyms, restrooms, pools, and grounds. Arrange furnishings and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and events while delivering supplies, mail, and packages to appropriate parties. Inspect facilities for vandalism, equipment breakage, or weather damage to identify necessary repairs and secure grounds to minimize property loss. Respond to immediate safety concerns such as facility damage or alarms and attend in-service training on blood-borne pathogens, cleaning solvents, and first aid. Lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and service job-related machinery including vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, and buffers. Adhere to daily, weekly, monthly, and summer expectations for assigned areas while reporting directly to the Director of Facilities.
