Job Summary
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the corporate office by performing daily cleaning, sanitation, and light maintenance duties. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment while emptying trash and recycling containers. Restock restroom and kitchen supplies, clean windows and glass surfaces, and operate custodial equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the Facilities Manager and respond promptly to spills, emergencies, and special cleaning requests. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and follow OSHA regulations and building safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach overhead
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Push or pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to three years of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or corporate office environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safe chemical handling
- Ability to operate custodial equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication and customer service skills
