Custodian at Gerner Early Education Center, full-time evening shift (2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) providing custodial services to create a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include cleaning facilities and grounds, snow removal, delivering items, informing staff of safety and maintenance information, monitoring areas to prevent injuries, summer maintenance, preparing facilities for daily operations and events, replenishing supplies, responding to inquiries, reporting safety concerns, securing facilities, supporting other maintenance staff, and using English for communication. Skills and knowledge emphasize operating cleaning equipment, basic math and instructions, safety practices, adaptability, teamwork, and on-call availability. Requires ability to read and respond to emails and participate in online training; may involve third-shift work as assigned.
