Custodian

Maintain an attractive, sanitary, safe facility for students, staff, and the public by cleaning assigned classrooms, offices, gyms, restrooms, and grounds. Arrange furnishings and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and events while delivering supplies, mail, and packages to appropriate parties. Inspect facilities for vandalism, equipment breakage, or weather damage to identify necessary repairs and secure grounds to minimize property loss. Respond immediately to safety concerns, facility alarms, and operational issues. Service job-related machinery including vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, and buffers by adjusting, cleaning, and oiling them. Attend in-service training on blood-borne pathogens, cleaning solvents, floor care, and first aid. Lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and adhere to daily attendance and punctuality expectations. Answer directly to the Director of Facilities and respond to requests from building principals.
