Job Summary
Perform assigned cleaning tasks at sites including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing. Assist in moving supplies and equipment as needed while monitoring inventory to notify the team leader when replenishment is required. Report any equipment malfunctions or job difficulties to the supervisor immediately. Complete additional related duties as requested. Requires at least six months of porter cleaning experience or ACCES-VR training, a qualified NYS driver's license, and ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- at least six months prior porter cleaning experience
- completion of ACCES –VR porter training program
- ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor
- ability to understand instructions given by supervisor
- some training in use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing experience
- a qualified NYS driver's license
