Job Summary
Custodian position for Afternoon Shift at Alliance High School. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety of the building, sidewalks, and premises; performing general maintenance tasks; cleaning classrooms, restrooms, chalkboards/whiteboards; reporting repairs; ensuring doors/windows are secured; operating custodial equipment; stocking supplies; assisting with cafeteria setup and food service deliveries; supervising safety; and following district policies. Requires ability to read/write, communicate effectively, work independently and with others, knowledge of chemical/PPE use and proper equipment handling, and ability to lift up to 70 pounds (300 pounds on wheels). Previous experience with facility maintenance, cleaning protocols, and safety procedures is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.
