Job Summary
The Custodian will maintain an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and public; provide equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance; minimize property damage, loss and liability exposure; follow safety rules and district/state regulations; maintain inventory and supplies; supervise students assigned to cafeteria or other duties as needed; prepare facilities for daily operations and assist with facility scheduling and event setup; respond to safety and operational concerns and secure facilities and grounds; and participate in required training to stay current with district, state and federal rules.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Prior custodial experience preferred
