Custodian - 260 days (Evening shift)

Custodian for Perry Township Schools tasked with custodial services across district facilities. Evening shift with 260 workdays per year. Responsibilities include routine custodial duties, spill response, light fixture maintenance and bulb changes, anticipating supply needs, maintaining clean custodial closets, assisting maintenance personnel, performing general manual labor, snow removal and salting on daytime shifts, operating cleaning equipment (brooms, mops, waxing machines, vacuums, snow blowers, shovels), and reporting repairs. Must work independently with good judgment, be available for additional hours/on-call, and promote a harassment-free environment. Travel to district buildings and professional meetings as required. Salary: $15.75/hour plus $0.50 differential; annualized approx. $32,760–$33,800 depending on shift. Education requirement is reading/writing ability; previous custodial experience is preferred.
