Job Summary
Custodian (1st Shift) with responsibilities including cleaning the warehouse, offices, restrooms, lunch room, parking areas, and related spaces. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, vacuums, bathroom cleaning, stocking supplies, trash/recycling management, dock-area upkeep, window washing, sprinkler-pipe cleaning, and lawn/parking lot maintenance. Requires ability to read/write English, stand/walk, lift up to 50 pounds (up to 50% of shift), and compliance with SSOPs/SQF. Shift is Monday through Friday, 6:45am–3:15pm, based in Reading, PA; benefits available if hired permanently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior custodial experience
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
- Must be able to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms
- Frequent talking or hearing; occasional sitting; climbing/balancing kneeling crawling
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds up to 50% of shift
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts, vacuums warehouse, offices, restrooms, lunch room
- Maintains a clean dock area; washes windows; cleans sprinkler pipes
- Maintains parking lot; trash collection and loading
- Assists in snow and ice removal; grass trimming
- SSOPs and SQF standards compliance
- Duties as requested/assigned
