Job Summary
Custodian duties include general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and other areas; perform floor care (sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing); wash walls and glass; replace light bulbs; assist with setup and breakdown for meetings and events; handle deliveries and supplies; assist in recycling and waste removal; perform grounds-keeping, snow removal, and safety compliance; follow safety rules and MSDS guidelines; occasional travel between schools; requires ability to read, write and speak English and to work with supervision to complete tasks as assigned; prior custodial experience preferred but not required; background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to successfully perform the duties of the position.
