Custodian 10 month Central Custodian

Performs general custodial and light groundskeeping for Benson Middle School under the Johnston County Public Schools system. Responsible for sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, floor stripping/waxing/buffing, cleaning restrooms, washing walls and fixtures, dusting desks and furniture, emptying and recycling trash, cleaning windows, and maintaining cleanliness of sidewalks and outside walkways. Replenishes supplies, assists with lighting and equipment maintenance, and may perform minor maintenance tasks. May be required to lift 25-50 lbs, shovel snow/de-ice walkways, replace bulbs, and arrange furniture. Requires eligibility to obtain a Class B CDL and participation in job-related trainings.
