Job Summary
Custodial/Janitorial positions for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include operating electrical cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, shampoo machines, high-speed buffers), using chemicals per State Department of Education regulations, opening/locking facilities, cleaning assigned areas (windows, surfaces, vents, walls), sanitizing restrooms and kitchens, handling heavy custodial tasks (mopping, stripping, waxing floors), responding to spills and emergencies, moving and organizing equipment, reporting maintenance issues, performing routine equipment maintenance, and performing non-cleaning facility tasks as needed. Requirements include passing a Level II Background Check, owning/bringing a vehicle to assignments, and ability to read and speak English. Salary is $15 per hour, with full-time opportunities available in Orange County, Florida.
