Job Summary
Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition by performing cleaning duties as instructed, including restroom restocking, office dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and floor mopping. Prepare chemicals for various tasks, remove trash, and perform routine equipment maintenance. Work in indoor or outdoor environments while wearing appropriate PPE such as gloves, masks, and closed-toe shoes. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly while observing safety procedures. This role supports the Respect of Florida Program, providing custodial services to County and State agencies through nonprofit agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Must be able to communicate issues to the immediate supervisor
- Must wear the appropriate PPE: glasses, gloves, mask, goggles, and closed-toe shoes
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must have close vision
