Job Summary
Custodial Worker I at CSN Henderson Campus performs general cleaning of state facilities across offices, restrooms, classrooms, and other areas; operates cleaning equipment such as strippers, buffers, burnishers, power washers, and vacuums; ensures building security by securing doors/windows and reporting deficiencies; sets up rooms for meetings and events; maintains logs and inventory; follows safety and environmental health practices; attends in-service training and adheres to policies. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and custodial experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education
- Six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment
- OR Six months of general work experience and six months of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment
- OR Six months of experience as a Custodial Worker Trainee in Nevada State service
