Job Summary
Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, stairs, and horizontal surfaces; vacuum carpeting and furnishings; dust furniture and décor; clean and polish glass tables, doors, mirrors, and similar surfaces. Sanitize restrooms and kitchens including appliances, surfaces, and cabinet interiors. Collect and dispose of trash and debris, replace burned-out light bulbs, and maintain clean entry doors by removing dust, bugs, and webbing. Straighten and rearrange furniture, spot clean fabrics, replenish facial tissue and water dispensers, and order or advise management on cleaning supply needs. Notify management of emergency maintenance issues and assist with setup for team meetings, chapel services, or floral tributes. Work part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, at a location in Glendale, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Physically agile and dexterous
- Proficient knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents
- Proficient with handling basic maintenance repairs
- Resilient to cleaning compounds and solutions
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and take appropriate cautions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
