Job Summary
Custodial Team Member responsible for maintaining a neat and clean facility appearance and assisting in custodial maintenance per housekeeping standards. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, dusting fixtures, cleaning restrooms and break areas, operating custodial equipment, reporting accidents, and training/ supervising trainees. Emphasizes safety, drug-free workplace, harassment-free environment, positive communication, and customer service to donors and clients. Requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and ability to work with Team Leader and other staff to meet location goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Knowledge of custodial floor and carpet cleaning techniques and procedures
- Knowledge and familiarization with custodial equipment and supplies and associated hazards
- Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with Team Leader, Team Members, Customers, and Clients
- Able to supervise and train people
- Able to read cleaning supply directions and chemical mixtures
- Able to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
Desired Qualifications
