Job Summary
Supervise custodial personnel and manage the scheduling and work organization for custodial services. Responsibilities include training employees in cleaning techniques, evaluating work performance, maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies, and preparing bi-weekly payroll. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of the custodial industry and a high school or technical school education.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in custodial/janitorial industry
- Minimum of 6 months in a supervisory capacity
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certificate in Custodial Cleaning preferred
- Bilingual skills, Spanish is a plus
