Job Summary
Support cleaning operations across multiple buildings in Auburn Hills and Pontiac while maintaining quality standards and consistency. Lead, train, and support custodial employees in the field, performing hands-on cleaning duties as needed. Complete building checks, monitor cleaning standards, and assist with supply needs, staffing coverage, and daily operational issues. Communicate professionally with employees, building contacts, and company leadership to help identify concerns and solve problems. Work Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience
- Previous supervisor, team lead, or management experience
- Comfortable working across multiple buildings in the Farmington Hills and Southfield area
- Willing to submit to a motor vehicle record review
- Reliable attendance and strong follow-through
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead employees while also performing hands-on cleaning duties when needed
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage changing priorities
- Professional attitude when working with employees, customers, and leadership
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
