Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate second-shift custodial staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting facility inspections to ensure quality standards and safety compliance. Train new employees, provide ongoing coaching, maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and respond to urgent cleaning or maintenance requests. Communicate effectively with management and team members while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies. This full-time weekend role requires availability for first-shift hours and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of custodial or janitorial experience
- at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work first shift hours
