Job Summary
Custodial Supervisor responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, training and evaluating day-to-day custodial operations across district facilities; oversees afternoon and night shift custodial staff; inspects facilities for proper care, cleanliness, and compliance; participates in staffing decisions and disciplinary actions; provides technical input for supervision and evaluation of staff; develops work schedules, reviews custodial reports, and ensures efficient, cost-effective operations; trains custodial personnel, designs training programs, and maintains custodial handbooks; enforces health and safety measures and procedures; communicates with district and site administrators, vendors, and other stakeholders; maintains records and reports; utilizes computers and related software; supports ongoing custodial program development and adherence to district policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Four years of recent custodial work experience
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Must reside within 45-minutes of the GUSD Administration Office
