Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning, disinfection, trash disposal, and supply replenishment for assigned areas in compliance with safety protocols. Operate vacuum, mop, floor stripping, and carpet extraction equipment while properly handling all cleaning chemicals. Set up and take down furniture for activities and monitor spaces to remove unsafe or broken items. Report maintenance needs promptly and respond to requests with urgency. Maintain high personal appearance and follow employee handbook procedures. Work collaboratively with supervisors and customers while reflecting CRISTA's Christian values and mission.
Required Qualifications
- Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
- Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God
- Prayerfully seeks God's will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA
- Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices
- Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA's Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC)
- Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC)
- Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of professional or commercial cleaning
- Able to demonstrate skills and knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to pass background checks relating to DSHS Secretary's List of Crimes and Negative Actions
- Maintain a high level of personal appearance, consistent with CRISTA standards
- Demonstrate dependability and punctuality, making sure they are at work on time
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to complete assigned tasks in an orderly and timely manner, meeting the 'Standard of Clean' by following the schedule set forth for each area
- Following safety procedures to ensure safety of self and others is a must
- Able to work overtime when needed
