Job Summary
Lead by example in cleaning standards, safety, and professionalism while performing routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, dusting, and floor care. Open and secure school facilities at designated times, monitor lighting for energy efficiency, and conduct basic inspections to address cleaning or service issues as they arise. Assign and monitor daily tasks to ensure completion and quality standards are met across classrooms, cafeterias, and outside grounds. Train team members on proper cleaning procedures and safety practices, communicate site needs and supply requirements to the Area Supervisor, and maintain positive relationships with school staff. Support weekend and special event coverage by assisting with sports tournaments and performances. This hands-on role requires independent work at a fast pace, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.
