Job Summary
Lead a large custodial crew at the Delta Center by motivating staff, adapting daily workloads, and ensuring a "show ready" appearance for the NBA arena. Work side-by-side with custodial staff to maintain sanitation, report repairs, and ensure a safe environment while protecting company reputation. Assist in training new employees and respond to facility demands as challenges arise. Shifts typically run from 6pm to 1am, with hours varying by event and some lasting until 3am.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
- This person must be able to lift 20 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years custodial experience preferred
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division )
