Job Summary
Conduct daily janitorial duties, operate motorized cleaning equipment, and maintain assigned areas while tracking supply and equipment inventory. Provide work direction and assistance to custodians, assist with staff scheduling and training, and perform quality, service, and safety inspections. Report incidents, hazardous conditions, and personnel issues to the supervisor, monitor proper use of personal protective equipment, and recommend corrective actions for areas needing improvement. Work Monday through Friday from 11am to 7:30pm earning $17.00-$18.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 1-year related experience
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- Forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
