Job Summary
Custodial Lead oversees cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, provides work direction to custodial staff, assists Custodial Supervisor with scheduling and training, tracks equipment and supply inventory, performs quality, service, and safety inspections, and ensures proper use of PPE.Responsibilities include operating motorized cleaning equipment, maintaining inventory, reporting incidents, coordinating repairs, and supporting safety and compliance initiatives with a focus on reliability and teamwork. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, possible driver’s license, and safety/task training; forklift certification may be required. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; compensation is $16.00-$17.00 per hour.
