Job Summary
Custodial position on Oahu (Hawaii Kai) with Hawaiian Building Maintenance. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining a commercial space, following task checklists and company procedures, maintaining safety and reporting issues, and collaborating with team. Requires effective communication in English, ability to stand and walk for shifts, ability to lift at least 25 lbs, and availability Monday to Friday with a 32-hour workweek. Schedule includes various start times (6:00 AM–12:30 PM and 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). Prior custodial/housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory; Hawaii driver’s license preferred but not required. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of HBM prescreen check
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license preferred but not required
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shift
- Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, or related field is preferred
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 25lbs
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail
