Job Summary
Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces including LVP, concrete, and hardwood gym floors using equipment such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, burnishers, and vacuums. Assist with general custodial duties and participate in special projects as required, while performing physical tasks like lifting, bending, and stooping. Ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for students, staff, and visitors. Work primarily in evening hours from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with occasional adjustments for school events. This part-time role offers potential for full-time hours based on performance and departmental needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in cleaning and maintaining various hard floor surfaces, such as LVP, concrete, and hardwood gym floors
- Physical capability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and stooping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and respond to requests
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete tasks
- Must be available for evening hours (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)
