Job Summary
Lead and supervise a floor care team to perform floor maintenance across multiple contracted sites, including stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and operating floor cleaning machines (buffers, scrubbers, extractors, vacuums). Organize weekly assignments and site rotations, train and onboard new staff, inspect work quality, maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure safety/compliance with OSHA regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills are essential; candidate should have 1–2 years of floor care experience with supervisory exposure and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 1. Must have a valid driver’s license, pass background check, and drug test.
- 2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in floor care (strip/wax, carpet cleaning, buffing).
- 3. Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- 4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance and/or equipment.
- 5. Familiarity with OSHA regulations including Hazard Communication and Blood Borne Pathogens.
- 6. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
