Job Summary
Custodial Attendant responsible for cleaning and stocking exam rooms, client lobbies, and bathrooms; overseeing indoor upkeep and trash collection; laundry for hospital areas; maintaining lobby and client-facing areas in a clean, sanitary, and presentable state; supports hospital operations in a client-facing role at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay, MA. Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash collection, window washing, stocking client bathrooms, and performing other duties as assigned. Schedule includes full-time 6a–2p, Sunday through Wednesday; uniform allowance and employee assistance benefits are provided. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, the ability to work independently, and the physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds; no animal handling involved.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent clear communication skills with the ability to work independently and to accept direction on various assignments
- Must be professional, pleasant, and engaged
- Physically capable of lifting 30 pounds unassisted
- Ability to perform moderate physical labor
- Must be able to effectively understand and carry out written and oral directions
