Job Summary
Heavy-duty Custodial Associate responsible for cleaning hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction, and garbage removal across offices and facilities; performs detail cleanings of stairwells and elevator, washes large floor surfaces, wipes high surfaces, cleans washrooms and showers/locker rooms, transports cleaning machinery between floors, and handles garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor; weekend and holiday availability required, must pass a criminal background check, and may work with others or independently; opportunities for career advancement and on-site parking are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months or more experience in commercial building
- Able to lift 25-30 lbs for garbage
- Ability to obtain a clear criminal record through the Waterloo Regional Police Service before hired
- Willingness to work with others or on your own
