Job Summary
Contribute to meeting and exceeding team sales quota in the Northeast territory by developing and delivering winning presentations covering exhibits, pre-workshops, meetings, sales pitches, pilot trainings, and program activations. Build and maintain ongoing relationships with sales teams and key K-12 decision-makers while partnering with product management to advance Savvas Math and Science solutions. Provide product activation training for new and existing accounts, gather customer feedback to enhance offerings, and resolve satisfaction issues through close collaboration with internal teams. Maintain expertise through certification and training to fully support the sales cycle. This role requires 40-60% travel within the Northeast territory and on-site customer meetings. Candidates must reside in New Jersey, NYC, or Southern CT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- 5+ years of K-12 education experience
- classroom teaching experience
- Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education market
- Experience in networking with high level district administrators and decision makers
- Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations for diverse audiences
- 40-60% travel within the territory
- Occasional travel to other territories
- Significant travel will be required at times
- Long distance travel in cars is possible
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Candidates must reside in New Jersey
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required

- Expert knowledge of education theory and market trends in K-12 Math and Science
- Deep knowledge and passion for learning in K-12 education
- Expert presenter in the delivery of engaging and informative sales presentations and product orientations
- Ability to deliver winning presentations in large and small group presentations
- Highly skilled in persuasion, argumentation, and influencing experts and decision makers in K-12 Math/Science
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to relate to all levels of K-12 employees, from superintendents to paraprofessionals
- Ability to have pointed conversations with school district experts in K-12 content areas
- Highly proficient with technology skills, including all presentation software and hardware
- Ability to quickly grasp and present Savvas technology solutions
- Comfortable with the use of technology
- Understanding of sales campaign strategy, market trends, and the full continuum of Savvas Learning Company services
- Collaborative mindset, functioning as a flexible, team-oriented partner who shares responsibilities
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage projects from inception to completion
- Exceptional organizational skills in managing time, communicating effectively, and organizing physical and digital materials
- Master's degree preferred
- A college degree is required with an advanced degree or specialty related training highly desirable
