Job Summary
K-5 Literacy Curriculum Specialist to support Savvas Learning Company in the Southwest territory (TX, OK, LA, AR). Key duties include delivering sales-support presentations and training, building relationships with PK-5 decision-makers, gathering customer feedback, enabling product activation and district adoption, and collaborating with sales, services, and product management to ensure customer success. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in PK-5 education with strong presentation skills, a collaborative mindset, self-starter attitude, and willingness to travel 40-60% within the territory. Requires Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and residence in Texas; bilingual skills a plus. Primary responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, delivering professional learning workshops, leading curriculum activations, and maintaining expertise on Savvas Literacy solutions across print and digital platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of K-5 education experience to include classroom teaching experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Deep K-12 Knowledge: Experience in PK-5 Literacy education.
- Coaching/Curriculum Coordinator at at top Texas district preferred.
- Knowledge of education theory and market trends in PK-5 Literacy.
- Public speaking and creating engaging presentations for diverse audiences.
- Strong technology skills, with proficiency in presentation software and hardware (PC or Mac).
- Experience in engaging with district administrators and decision makers.
