Job Summary
Design and develop the scope and sequence of English language learning units across grade levels, applying expertise in language pedagogy to create clear, measurable learning goals. Build engaging, scaffolded experiences that support learners at varied proficiency levels while ensuring alignment between instructional approaches and assessments. Create high-quality student and teacher-facing resources, including texts, tasks, and facilitation guides, using technology to produce polished materials for print and digital contexts. Collaborate with developer and training teams to refine curriculum based on classroom pilot feedback and emerging research. This role requires a Masters in English Language Teaching or Applied Linguistics, minimum three years of curriculum development experience, and local presence in Mumbai. All Saturdays are off.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Education
- Masters Degree in English Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
- Relevant classroom teaching experience in English language learning or literacy
- Minimum 3 years of curriculum development experience, including unit planning, lesson sequencing, assessment design, and development of student- and teacher-facing resources in English language learning
- Experience with national or international English language frameworks (e.g., CEFR, NEP 2020)
- Experience in competency-based or proficiency-oriented curriculum design
- Experience working on large-scale curriculum projects
- Local candidates needed
