Job Summary
DataCamp is seeking a Curriculum Manager - Software Engineering to design and develop its software engineering curriculum. Candidates should have proven web development experience, strong instructional design skills, and a relevant graduate degree. This is a mid-level, full-time position with competitive compensation and ongoing learning opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven full-stack web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript
- Hands-on experience with JS/TS backend frameworks such as Express or Next.js
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React
- Experience with modern JS tooling such as npm and yarn
- Automated testing using frameworks such as Jest
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Strong expertise in instructional design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in software engineering education
- A deep understanding of the DataCamp course format
- An existing network of potential subject matter experts who can become DataCamp instructors
