Job Summary
Lead the AES team to ensure delivery of excellent student outcomes through academic oversight, timetabling, and performance feedback. Manage staff appointments, arrange cover, and represent the Centre in strategic planning and external meetings. Liaise with student support teams to monitor engagement and implement interventions, while producing reports for internal and external scrutiny. Maintain consistency of standards across the provision by sharing good practice and contributing to annual curriculum reviews. Work 15 hours per week as a fixed-term contract until August 2027, reporting to the Regional Head of English Curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
- Teaching experience within post-16 education, a UK pathway Centre or higher education
- Experience of providing leadership with evidence of success
- Experience of providing feedback to another person about their performance, which achieved a positive improvement
- Ability to delegate activities set deadlines and take responsibility for overseeing their successful completion to meet challenging deadlines
- Experience of working with international students with a knowledge of their needs
- Experience of data management and interpretation, and quality assurance
- Experience of leading, advising or supporting others to develop curricula
- Experience of working within a Virtual Learning Environment
