Job Summary
Lead Xavier Catholic College's HPE/Sport curriculum as Curriculum Leader, driving contemporary teaching practices, supervising and inducting teachers, analyzing student performance data, and managing the budget and resources within the curriculum area. Responsibilities include developing work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements; applying research to classroom practice through professional development; leading and innovating within the curriculum area; and fostering stakeholder engagement while ensuring safeguarding and compliance requirements. Not required to be Catholic; includes Middle Leader role with ongoing appointments and leadership allowances. Location: Xavier Catholic College, Hervey Bay, with a 30-hour work week and a salary range of $86,601–$124,725 per year plus Middle Leader Allowance and 12.5% superannuation.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
