Job Summary
Collaborate with the Ministry of Labour and Skills in Addis Ababa to institutionalize CBT through development of high-quality Occupational Standards, Modular Curricula, and Standardized Assessment Toolkits; build a sustainable group of local Lead Trainers; align local labour demands with international standards; conduct DACUM workshops with local industry, transition traditional instruction to CBT, develop practical modular curricula emphasizing Green TVET and digital literacy, implement thorough assessments to ensure the Certificate of Competency is valued in the job market, and create extensive assessment banks with projects, oral exams, and observation checklists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or vocational training-related field
- Master of Science (Asset)
- At least 5 years of work experience in the technical and vocational training system in a leadership role
- 2 years of industry experience either in leadership or as an expert
- Knowledge of technical and vocational training for trainers, technology fabrication and transfer, effective ship training practices, and proficiency in using digital technologies
