Job Summary
The Curriculum Coordinator - Assistant Director at Kids ‘R’ Kids Academy of Concord NC is responsible for overseeing the school’s curriculum operations and closely collaborating with the administrative team to boost enrollment. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety and sanitary requirements, assisting teachers with curriculum implementation, and directly working with school-age children. Applicants must have a degree in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor's Degree with at least three years of experience in a similar role. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of NC childcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a curriculum coordinator or assistant director in a NC child care facility
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of the NC Licensing Regulations and Sanitation Requirements
- Holds a North Carolina level I, II or III administration certificate
- Experience working in a licensed early childhood center
- MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills required
- Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with front desk, marketing, childcare systems and social media
- Experience in the administration of classroom curriculum
Additional Requirements
- Must have experience working with NC Child Care Rules, Regulations, Sanitation, Guidelines, Parent Relations, food program, DSS and Child Care Resources
- Willing to drive a 14-passenger bus on school route and summer camp (no special license required, regular license with a clean record required)
