Job Summary
Conduct groundside patrols and enforce curbside controls at the Mount Hope airport, managing traffic for commercial vehicles and issuing infraction notices. Provide professional customer service, assist passengers with wayfinding and baggage, and monitor flight schedules to adjust staffing for peak periods or irregular operations. Perform parking lot inspections, ensure gate operations, and report hazards or suspicious activity to the Airport Operations Centre. Maintain detailed daily logs and patrol records while adhering to all airport regulations and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods
- Ability to complete frequent patrols
- Understanding of escalation policies and procedures
- Fluent English communication skills
- Excellent customer service and reception skills
- Highly reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Professional demeanor and performance
