Job Summary
Curator/Senior Gallery Manager responsible for developing, preparing, and installing permanent collection displays and temporary exhibitions. Leads design, fabrication, and installation of art exhibits; evaluates site conditions; creates construction documents; develops cost estimates and procures materials; plans and coordinates installations and traveling exhibitions with internal and external partners; performs gallery maintenance; ensures compliance with codes, ADA, and fire safety; may supervise staff including hiring, development, and performance management; requires collaboration with scientists, researchers, and facilities coordinators to advance exhibition projects; minimum education is a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; background checks and motor vehicle records checks are required; Penn State does not sponsor employment-based Visa; salary range $51,000–$74,000 with comprehensive benefits.
