Job Summary
Review and analyze chain of ownership documents and lien records to clear discrepancies found during property searches. Use proprietary tools for research and clearance, communicating with applicable parties to resolve issues and manage loans in the pipeline. Monitor communications for timely responses, coordinate daily with lenders, and obtain client advice to effectively clear title. Reconcile loans weekly to confirm accuracy, provide general assistance with internal communications, and handle client inquiries via phone and email with strong empathy. Troubleshoot daily activities as needed and recommend suggestions for continuous improvements to overall operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Typically has 4+ years of experience in title review, closing, funding or post-closing of residential mortgage loans
- Industry experience required
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to perform tasks under deadline
- Overall understanding of Mortgage Loan Life Cycle process and mortgage loan documents
- Extreme attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Sound independent judgment
- Customer service skills
- Proficient in all MS Office applications
