Job Summary
Conduct sight-singing and dictation instruction for MUS1191 A/B/C sections, utilizing movable and fixed Do systems to teach melodies and duets. Guide students through coursework covering both small and large group settings while maintaining a professional teaching demeanor. This year-long course runs from September 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with a total of 280 hours. Compensation is set at $33.83 for undergraduates or $53.31 for graduates, excluding vacation and statutory pay. The successful candidate must hold at least a Grade VIII in piano from the RCM or equivalent and possess the ability to sight-read music.
