Job Summary
CUP Operator on the Engineering team responsible for maintaining boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, cooling towers, water softeners, and water recirculation systems. Monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and perform unscheduled maintenance; make emergency repairs; conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with codes and safety procedures. Collaborate with team to deliver reliable building-system performance and exceptional internal/external guest service, while applying problem-solving and initiative to maintain high standards of operation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Knowledge and ability to understand, work with, make minor repairs to and troubleshoot all systems within a complex facility.
- General understanding of all major building systems.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heat, and cooling equipment.
- Knowledge of testing equipment and ability to diagnose operational malfunctions.
