CUP CONE GRINDING OPERATOR - Day & Night

Cup Cone Grinding Operator on a full-time day/night shift responsible for operating and maintaining a grinding line to produce precision metal parts, measuring dimensions with gauges, ensuring conformance to specifications, monitoring conveyors and equipment, adjusting machine controls, and performing setup/overhauls as needed. Key duties include using hand and power tools, operating forklifts, monitoring robots and gantry devices, recording production data, troubleshooting equipment and part conformance, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety, ergonomic, and environmental requirements per Amsted Rail procedures. The role requires the ability to lift components, stand for extended periods, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude with potential for on-the-job training and advancement.
