Job Summary
Perform preventative, routine, and minor maintenance on production and support machinery, including timely changeovers and troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment. Assist Production Associates, Project, Process, and R&D Engineers with developing and troubleshooting new products and processes. Act as a mentor to Operators and Technicians in training to ensure process integrity and best practices. Adhere to all plant safety rules, wear protective equipment, and complete Hazardous Waste Management training within six months. Shift work runs 10 hours from 4:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Thursday. Starting hourly rate is $24.35.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate or recognized equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language sufficient enough to perform the following: Communicate effectively with other team members and supervision
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language sufficient enough to perform the following: Read and comprehend process instructions
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language sufficient enough to perform the following: Record pertinent process information as required
- Minimum of one year of verifiable experience with same or similar manufacturing equipment and tasks as those in place in assigned work area(s)
- Must pass the company's standard mechanical aptitude evaluation for mechanics
- Must possess basic personal computer skills sufficient enough to navigate menus and select, open and print documents
- Hazardous Waste Management training must be completed within six months of entering the job and annually each year thereafter
- Eye protection in the form of approved safety glasses with side shields or approved safety goggles is required
- Approved steel-toe safety shoes are required
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 25 lbs. unaided
- Ability to push a loaded production buggy weighing as much as 1,500 lbs.
- Vision correctable to 20/20 with normal depth perception and peripheral vision
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful, permanent resident (a/k/a green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1158
- Eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
- Not a convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year

- Not an illegal alien

- Not convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
